Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has been officially confirmed from Ubisoft and set in the Viking era.
Ubisoft showcased the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise titled Valhalla. You play as Eivor, a mighty Viking raider and lead your clan from the harsh shores of Norway to a new home amid the lush farmlands of ninth-century England. Explore a beautiful, mysterious open world where you’ll face brutal enemies, raid fortresses, build your clan’s new settlement, and forge alliances to win glory and earn a place in Valhalla.
England in the age of the Vikings is a fractured nation of petty lords and warring kingdoms. Beneath the chaos lies a rich and untamed land waiting for a new conqueror.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla does not have a confirmed release date but is to be released this holiday season and will also be released for the next gen consoles as well (Xbox Series X & PS5). There are multiple editions to pre-order from the standard to a collectors edition. If you pre-order you receive an exclusive mission named ‘The Way of the Berserker’. This extra mission has you “join a legendary Norse Berserker on his quest for revenge”.
I personally can not wait for this to be released and will be one of the first next gen titles I get. The idea of being a viking is exciting and can really become a brutal video game with a very deep story. What say you? Are you excited to hop back into the Assassin’s Creed series like I am or will skip out?
