22 Years Later…The Time Has Come
In 1998 Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped was released on the Playstation 1 and while other Crash titles have been released since then there was never an official sequel to the very popular character.
Then in 2017 we got the wildly popular Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy which was a remastered version of all 3 original Crash games that were released on the Playstation. With mostly positive reviews many wondered would this be the beginning of the return of the Bandicoot and today we have our answer with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
Crash Bandicoot 4 will be released October 2nd on PS4 and Xbox One and will feature familiar faces from the past and bring the original gameplay style that made the franchise so popular. The summary on the website describes the story as such
“PICKING UP WHERE THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY LEFT OFF, NEO CORTEX AND DR. NEFARIOUS TROPY HAVE ESCAPED THEIR INTERDIMENSIONAL PRISON AND IN DOING SO HAVE FRACTURED THE BOUNDARIES OF TIME AND SPACE. IT’S UP TO CRASH AND COCO TO SAVE THE DAY.”
I can not wait to continue where things left off after Warped and this sure looks like a must have for fans of the franchise.
