More Than Meets the Eye
Deadline broke the exclusive story that Josh Cooley who directed the successful Toy Story 4 will now have his sights on the Transformers Franchise that will focus on an origin story. This no doubt will be set on Cybertron, the home planet of the Autobots and Decepticons and will explore the relationship between Megatron and Optimus Prime.
The script is written by Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari, who did production work on Ant-Man and were credited writers for Ant-Man and the Wasp. The film is supposed to be separate from the live action Bay movies and the recent Bumblebee movie.
This will be the first animated movie since the 1986 Transformers movie and will be led by Hasbro/eOne.
